We Can, I Can 2016: The Scottish Cancer Prevention Network Fifth Annual World Cancer Day Conference

SCPN Conference Ad

The Scottish Cancer Prevention Network 2016 Conference is entitled ‘We Can, I Can’ as we celebrate World Cancer Day – the 4th February 2016. The conference, held in the heart of Edinburgh, aims to bring you the latest evidence on lifestyle and cancer risk with WCRF evaluating what evidence has become stronger over recent years and what has receded. They will be exploring obesity in a cancer context, the latest evidence on melanoma and the interplay between genetics, lifestyle and cancer risk. In addition, delegates will hear about the latest bowel screening FIT test, results from the REX study and how large datasets can be used to transform change in cancer. A real treat will be Dr Andrew Murray inspiring attendees how to engage patients in physical activity, and of course they will hear the patient’s voice too.

Places are now fully booked, but keep an eye out for information on next year’s SCPN Conference so you can book in advance.
