Professor Gozde Ozakinci is a professor of health psychology at the University of Stirling. Her main research expertise are around issues that affect cancer survivors from changing health behaviours to prevent cancer in the future, to emotional management of cancer recurrence threat. She works in multidisciplinary teams to develop novel and effective interventions to address these issues. She is the Lead for Health Psychology research group at the Division of Psychology, University of Stirling and the director of the Master of Health Psychology course in Stirling. She is also the associate editor of the Journal of Behavioural Medicine, consulting editor of Health Psychology, and on the editorial board of European Journal of Cancer Care.
